Click here for a list of Friend Center Classrooms

All events and meetings require reservations. Classroom reservations must be submitted at least three days prior to the planned event.

The Video Conference room, Friend 003, must be reserved at least one week prior to your event. The application form is available online and must be faxed to 258-6328.

For a media services technician or special equipment, contact Media Services directly at 258-1603. Special needs for the computer cluster classrooms (005, 007, 009) should be directed to Karen Flamard, 258-7503.

Cancellation Policy: You must notify the Registrar’s Office of all room cancellations.

The Friend Center building is locked from 7pm – 7am Monday through Friday and on weekends from Friday 7pm – Monday 7am.

Special Booking Policy:

(1) Bowl Classrooms (004, 006, 008) will be locked at 4:30pm Monday-Friday. Late afternoon (ending 4:30pm or later), evening and weekend events that are scheduled in the bowl rooms will require a key. If an event is scheduled to end at 4:30pm or later, a key must be obtained at the circulation desk.

Keys to unlock bowl rooms can be issued only when events have been scheduled in advance through the Office of the Registrar. Email or call 8-3362.

The person responsible for the event may obtain a key from the Friend Library Circulation Desk. You must leave your PU ID with the library worker while the key is in your possession. Your PU ID will be returned to you when the key is returned to the circulation desk. The Registrar’s Office sends the library a weekly listing of all events scheduled in these rooms. Keys are to be picked up no sooner than 30 minutes before your event is scheduled to begin. Keys for weekend events may also be obtained by members of the Engineering faculty by making arrangements with Christine Lian, 8-4560.

(2) Because they are located within the library, classrooms on the 200 and 300 level are available only when the library is open. They can only be booked between the hours listed on the right.

Prohibited: Smoking, eating or drinking in classrooms.

All classrooms are TYPE A
