Santullo is CEO of OpenNetwork
CLEARWATER, Fla.—Cosmo “Cos” Santullo ’78 was named president
and chief executive officer of OpenNetwork Technologies, a leading provider of
non-intrusive identity management security solutions.
OpenNetwork improves Web security by providing identity management solutions.
The company’s Universal Identity Platform makes it possible for a company
to centrally manage disparate identities, control access to protected resources,
and provide automated workflow and provisioning.
In his new position Mr. Santullo is charged with maximizing OpenNetwork’s
growth potential and solidifying its leadership in the global identity management
market.
Mr. Santullo earned a bachelor of science in engineering in civil engineering
from Princeton.
He has made his career by specializing in organizational strategy. He was previously
president, chief executive officer, and director of both Sonicwall, Inc. and
Mirror Image Internet, Inc.
Schrader
named CEO of ERCOT
HOUSTON—Thomas F. Schrader ’72 *78 has been appointed chief executive
officer of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), which operates
most of Texas’s electric grid.
Mr. Schrader earned both his bachelor’s and master’s of science
in engineering in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He has served in senior
executive positions at Wisconsin Gas Co., Wisconsin Electric Power Co., and
two start-up companies—Fieldtech, a national meter services firm and
WICOR Energy Services, a retailer of gas commodity services.
Most recently, Mr. Schrader was chief operating officer at Silver Spring Networks,
a networking technology company developing information and control networks
for the utility industry.
ERCOT board chairman Mike Greene expressed great confidence in the board’s
unanimous decision to appoint Mr. Schrader.
Mr. Schrader’s sons are also Princeton engineers. His son Christopher
Corbett Schrader ’03 holds a B.S.E. in operations research and financial
engineering and now works for Mercer Management Consulting, Inc. His son
James Schrader is a junior in the civil engineering department.
Hollingsworth
new VP at SMaL
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Richard Hollingsworth ’71 was named vice president
of quality, manufacturing, and product engineering at SMaL Camera Technologies
(SMaL).
SMaL is a developer of electronic imaging solutions for the digital camera,
security and surveillance, consumer electronics, and automotive markets. SMaL
was launched in 1999 by electronic imaging experts at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology.
Prior to joining SMaL, Mr. Hollingsworth was the vice president of manufacturing
and operations at the C-Port Network Processor Division of Motorola. He was
responsible for manufacturing, product and test engineering, materials, logistics,
facilities, quality, environmental health and safety, and information technology.
Mr. Hollingsworth received his bachelors of science in electrical engineering
from Princeton, and earned his masters of science in electrical engineering
from the University of Pennsylvania.
Two tigers join Mount Lucas
PRINCETON, N.J.—Mount Lucas Management Corporation has added two
Princetonian investment professionals to their research group.
Adam J. Berger *95, a Ph.D. in civil engineering and Nan
Lu *01 who earned
a master’s degree from the operations research and financial engineering
department are founding partners of Princeton Quantitative Investments LLC.
Dr. Berger now joins Mount Lucas as director of research, and Dr. Lu, who
has a Ph.D. in computational fluid dynamics from the Johns Hopkins University,
as senior researcher.
Tim Rudderow, president of Mount Lucas attributes the need for additional
research to the success of the MLM Macro–Peak.
“ Adam and Nan share an exceptionally strong background in investment management
as well as analytical modeling and simulation,” said Mr. Rudderow. “Their
skills are a perfect fit with Mount Lucas.”
