Engineers as Leaders in Research and
Management

The
Engineers as Leaders in Research and Management Centennial
Conference is one reunion event engineers should not miss.
This Centennial Conference kicks off reunion weekend celebrations
beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, and running throughout
the day, including a reunion lunch.
Sponsored by the School of Engineering
and Applied Science and the Graduate School, the conference
will feature distinguished graduate alumni of SEAS who are
at the forefront of major developments in modern science and
technology. Topics will include creating, applying, and commercializing
technology in electronics, information, bioengineering, and
nano-structured materials; scientific experiments in space;
and engineering in a sustainable world.
"This day is an excellent opportunity
to catch a glimpse of the excitement in engineering today,"
said Sankaran Sundaresan, associate dean for academic affairs,
professor of chemical engineering, and coorganizer of the
conference.
Interested participants are asked to register
for the Engineers as Leaders in Research and Management Centennial
Conference. While there is no charge for attending, registration
is requested to ensure adequate seating and lunch provisions.
