A fond farewell
This is the last issue of EQuad News
that will be produced under the direction of Ann Haver-Allen.
Ms. Haver-Allen has resigned her position as director of engineering
communications, effective June 30.
During her 12 years at the School of Engineering and Applied
Science, Ms. Haver-Allen transformed EQuad News from a 12-page,
irregularly published periodical to an award-winning, 32-page
quarterly. Over the past two years alone EQuad News has received
20 awards recognizing excellence in meeting its strategic
communications objectives.
“I will miss many friends and colleagues,” Ms.
Haver-Allen said. “It has been a pleasure to work with
so many intelligent, dedicated professionals. I have had the
good fortune of meeting and interviewing many people associated
with the SEAS and will always have fond memories of my time
here. I will especially miss Deans Emeriti James Wei and Richard
Golden '54, who always supported me and trusted my professional
judgment.”
