Industrial Press, Inc. has just published the Handbook of Manufacturing Processes: How Products, Components and Materials are Made, a comprehensive reference book by James Bralla that clearly describes more than 1,500 processes and 600 products. Bralla studied mechanical engineering as a Princeton undergraduate and later received a Master’s from Polytechnic University, New York. He is the author of other books noted in the manufacturing field, including Design for Manufacturability Handbook (1999) and Design for Excellence (1995).
