The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Foundation has named Jonathan Huberman, president and CEO of Tiburon, Inc., to its board of directors.

The Foundation is an international nonprofit with a mission to support injured and fallen officers and their families, protect the safety of officers, and support the goals and programs of the IACP. As a board member, Huberman will serve alongside police executives and private sector partners. His knowledge of public safety products acquired at Tiburon, a provider of computer-aided dispatch, records management, and security software solutions to law enforcement, fire, rescue and correction agencies will be beneficial.

Before he joined Tiburon, Huberman was manager/director of The Gores Group, a private equity firm specializing in acquiring and partnering with businesses, which included Tiburon. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at EMC Corporation, Iomega Corporations, aAd Capital and Idanta Partners.

Huberman holds an A.B. in electrical engineering and computer science received from Princeton in 1988 and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
