Funding
Every Princeton Engineering Ph.D. student receives full funding. In addition to a stipend, Ph.D. students are guaranteed a first-year fellowship from the University. M.S.E. students may receive teaching and/or research assistantships; see departmental websites for details. This level of support continues throughout the program, assuming progress is satisfactory.
For funding questions related to the M.Eng. program, please see this FAQ.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply for distinguished national fellowships from organizations such as the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the National Institutes of Health.
