Excellence in Mentoring Award

The Office of the School of Engineering and Applied Science Excellence in Mentoring Award, is designed to recognize faculty members who have distinguished themselves specifically in mentoring graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and/or faculty colleagues.

If you have benefited from the outstanding mentorship of a faculty member, or know of a faculty colleague who has gone beyond the call of duty to mentor other people, please consider submitting a nomination for this award. The nomination letter should describe the exceptional mentoring of the nominee and should not exceed two pages. Please send nominations to Andrea Mameniskis. The faculty member receiving the award will be recognized at the SEAS Spring Faculty Meeting in May.

Nominations are due in April each year. 2025 nominations should be submitted to Andrea Mameniskis by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 21. The award recipient is recognized at the final SEAS Spring Faculty Meeting, usually held in May.
