Old National elects Katherine White ’88 to corporate board of directors

Old National Bancorp, the largest financial services holding company headquartered in Indiana, has elected Katherine White to its corporate board of directors. White, a 1988 Princeton graduate from electrical engineering and computer science, is a law professor at Wayne State University.

A member of the University of Michigan board of regents, she served twice as its chair. In addition, she is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Michigan Army National Guard and serves as a Command Judge Advocate for the 46th Military Police Command in Lansing, Michigan. Before joining the Wayne faculty in 1996, she was on active duty from 1992 to 1995 as the Corps of Engineers’ Intellectual Property Counsel, then clerked for a U. S. Court of Appeals circuit judge in the following year.

A registered patent attorney, White received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and an LLM in intellectual property law from George Washington University. In 2014, she graduated from the U.S. Army War College with a master’s degree in strategic studies
