After serving for eighteen years on the board, Norman Augustine will retire in August as presiding director of Proctor & Gamble. He held that position at the highly-ranked household and personal products company for the past three years. Augustine is the former chair and CEO of Lockheed Martin Corp. and has been widely lauded for his business acumen and leadership.

He earned both a B.S.E. and an M.S. in aeronautical engineering at Princeton. Later, in the 1990s, he returned to campus as a professor. At Princeton University’s graduation on June 5, Augustine was awarded an honorary degree for his contributions in aerospace and public service.
