Dr. Laura Forese ’83 is appointed to Cantel Medical board of directors

It was announced by Cantel Medical Corp. that Dr. Laura Forese, president of New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System, has been appointed to its board of directors.

Cantel Medical is a provider of infection prevention and control products and services in the healthcare market, specializing in water purification and filtration, healthcare disposables, endoscopy, dialysis, therapeutic filtration, and more.

Forese is also the group senior vice president and chief operating officer for New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. She earned her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and her graduate degree from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her BSE in civil engineering was received from Princeton in 1983. Forese has maintained a connection to Princeton by serving as a University trustee, a member of the School of Engineering’s Leadership Council, and on a number of supportive committees.
