Sherilyn McCoy, CEO of Avon Products and a former executive at Johnson & Johnson, gave the undergraduate commencement address at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth this May. She also received an honorary Doctor of Business at the ceremony.

McCoy graduated in 1980 from UMass with a degree in textile chemistry. This was followed by an M.S. in chemical engineering from Princeton in 1982 and an MBA from Rutgers University in 1989.
