Charles Brankman is the new director of instructional programs for International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC), a global provider of training and competency management for the oil and gas industry. He will oversee IHRDC’s program activities, including course content, instruction and marketing.

Prior to IHRDV, Brankman was vice president of geosciences for C12 Energy, Inc., a company he and other associates founded in 2008 that offered oil recovery through CO2 flooding for oilfields in the U.S. Earlier, he worked at William Lettis and Associates, Inc. as a geological engineer and consultant and at Mobil Oil Corporation. Brankman received a BSE in civil engineering from Princeton in 1995, an M.S. in geological and environmental sciences from Stanford in 1999 and a Ph.D. in earth and planetary sciences from Harvard in 2009.
