“Designing a Lab Website with Accessibility in Mind” introduces graduate students to the foundations of designing inclusive websites for research groups. In many engineering labs, students are responsible for building and maintaining websites that showcase publications, recruit new members, and communicate complex work to a broad audience. This workshop explains common accessibility barriers and how small design choices can significantly impact who is able to engage with the site.
