Jordan Eagles: Centrifuge traces Eagles’s exploration of the visual power of blood and its use as an artistic medium and metaphor across sculpture, installation, photography, and video.
The blood included in Eagles’s work is not only a material used to create works of art but also testifies to the artist’s collaborative activism with the LGBTQI+ individuals who donated it. Its use invites reflection on blood as a vital aspect of all human bodies, urging a consideration of how policies rooted in identity and bias can fracture that bond.
All are welcome.
