John H. Brown ’67 named regional president of Bausch and Lomb

This past August, John H. Brown became president of Bausch and Lomb’s regional business operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and its corporate vice president.
His duties at Bausch & Lomb will include optimizing the company’s product portfolio and reinforcing connections between the different business units and regions.
Brown recently served as global president and CEO of Integrated Biosystems, Inc., a start-up company in California, then as president of North America for Stedim, S.A., a French company that acquired Integrated Biosystems. In prior years, he worked for CIBA-Geigy Corporation and the CEO for Covance’s Biotechnology Services.
Brown holds a B.S.E. in basic engineering from Princeton and an M.B.A. from Harvard.
