Jonathan Huberman ’88 appointed CEO of NewNet Technologies

It was announced by NewNet Communication Technologies, a global provider of telecom solutions, that Jonathan Huberman is its new president and CEO. In this role, he will further develop strategies for the company’s long-term growth in four areas: mobile messaging, payment security, interactive voice communications, and broadband wireless.
Huberman moves to NewNet from Tiburon, Inc., a software provider for the public safety industry, where he was president and CEO. Prior to that, he was a managing director of the Gores Group. Huberman has also served in upper management positions at EMC Corporation and Iomega Corporation, and was special advisor to the director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
A graduate from Princeton in 1988 with an A.B. in electrical engineering and computer science, Huberman also holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
