James Obsitnik ’91 joins Capsilon as COO

James Obsitnik was appointed chief operating officer of Capsilon Corporation, a provider of cloud-based document and data management solutions for the mortgage industry. He will work out of the San Francisco headquarters and be responsible for the company’s business operations, including sales, marketing, product operations, support and services.

Obsitnik moved to Capsilon from Oracle, where he was general manager for two of Oracle’s cloud-based talent management businesses. Previously, he served in executive roles at Taleo, which was acquired by Oracle in 2012, and at other cloud-based businesses such as Netscape, Commerce One, Everdream and Dell.

A graduate from Princeton in 1991 with a BSE in electrical engineering, Obsitnik also holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
