Adam Erlich recently joined Block Engineering LLC as vice president of marketing and business development.
According to the company’s press release, Erlich’s experience in commercializing high technology products will be an asset as the company prepares to introduce its technologies and products to both military and commercial markets. An emphasis will be placed on promoting the company’s newer line of MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) and spectrometers designed for the detection and identification of chemical threats.
Before moving to Block Engineering, which is based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Erlich was founder and president of Igeneco, a business that develops strategic and tactical sales and marketing for high technology companies. Prior to that undertaking, he was director of sales and marketing at Digital Optics Corp., which was later sold to Tessera. Erlich gained experience in intellectual property while at Fish & Richardson, a patent law firm, EKMS technology licensing firm and by earning a patent agent registration.
Erlich received his undergraduate degree electrical engineering from Princeton in 1991. He holds two master’s degrees: one from George Washington University in Technology Policy and Management and the second from Columbia University.
