Randolph Gress of Innophos Holdings, Inc. was elected to the Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation board of directors. He will serve on the audit committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee.

Gress joined Innophos in 2004, the year it was formed. He is now the chair, CEO and director of this international producer of specialty grade phosphate products for food, pharmaceutical and industrial markets. In prior years, Gress was with Rhodia, a specialty chemical business, and served in positions at FMC Corporation, a provider of agricultural products and industrial and specialty chemicals. Gress received an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Princeton in 1977 and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Based in the U.S., Coeur is a primary silver producer and a growing gold producer. The company has wholly owned operations in Mexico, Bolivia, Nevada and Alaska and continues to conduct exploration in the Americas.
