Interested in: The uses of computation to accelerate engineering directions in the field of synthetic biology. I plan to make strides towards the grand challenge of engineering better medicine by expanding biotechnical  applications of engineered microbes to (a) biomanufacture pharmaceutical compounds from simple carbon sources and (b) capitalize on novel enzyme-substrate interactions discovered in high-throughput computational screening.
