Research interests: Optimization: algebraic methods in optimization, semidefinite programming, polynomial optimization;
Computational aspects of dynamics and control: Lyapunov theory and optimization-based algorithms for robustness and stability analysis;
Algorithms and complexity: Computational complexity in numerical optimization, convex relaxations in combinatorial optimization. Applications in systems theory, statistics, robotics, and economics.
